Following bingo is the Bonfire with Steve Douglas and the
California Dreaming Band providing music from 8:00 until 10:00PM.
Popcorn will be available.

Monday Morning we have the Labor Day Pancake/French toast breakfast
including sausage, coffee and orange juice from 8:00 until 11:00AM

Due to scheduling issues the Board of Directors has decided to postpone the Paddle/Run until next year.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this my cause.  Please watch the website and newsletters for a future date for this event.

The Annual Rummage sale is coming on August 18th from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  This a great place to get lake items clothes and household items. 

Please observer the drop off schedule as follows:

Sunday August 12th from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM

Monday August 13th through Friday August 17th from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM

METAL AND ALUMINUM RECYCLE

Steve Johnson has volunteered his time to pick-up any aluminum and metal pieces you may have laying around for recycling in Kendallville with all proceeds going to the PLCC. Items must be placed roadside for ease of pick-up by 9:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2018. Anyone wanting to volunteer to help Steve may contact him at 602-971-8167. NO APPLIANCES

Dear fellow Pretty Lake Residents,

We will be treating certain areas of the lake with 2,4-D during the week of June 14 to contain the spread of Eurasian Water Milfoil.  The areas to be treated, shown in the attachment, total about three to four acres (about the same as we treated in each of the past two years).  The following restrictions will apply:

Restrictions for use of 2,4-D in aquatic sites with submerged weeds include:

• A waiting period of 21 days for water used for drinking, lawn watering, irrigation, sprays
• Posting notifications will be located every 250 feet along shoreline of treated area and 250 feet past the application site
• Postings will include day and time of application
• Postings may be removed 21 days following application
• No requirement to place buoys or postings in water away from shoreline
• No restrictions on swimming or fishing

Please be aware there will be a Pretty Lake 5K walk/run around the lake on April 21st starting at 9:00 AM from the Milford Elementary.  Yield to the run/walkers and lets all have another safe spring day at Pretty Lake.
