Annual Rummage Sale

We just completed our 2019 PLCC Rummage Sale. This annual event was started many years ago when a group of teenagers wanted to fund the construction of our current tennis court and they were given the daunting task of paying for it. Involvement in the PLCC events is important for the funding of the many projects that preserve the natural resources from loss, waste or harm in and around the lake.

We are pleased to announce that we increased our sales by 30% over previous years. We would not be successful without all of you who donated your “treasures”.

Thank you to the following individuals and neighbors that donated their time and hard work to make this event a success.

2019 PLCC Flotilla

The 2019 Pretty Lake Flotilla was an enthusiastic and fun event for this year’s Fourth of July activity. Well done participants.

We enjoyed watching the Grand Marshall Susan and Terry Martin from cottage #83. It was inspiring to have “Abraham Lincoln” stand up for Freedom and take 1st prize by the Welti family of Cottage #85. The “Pretty Lake Pizza” float was yummy baked by Julie Jones and Family from Cottage #72 and won 2nd prize.  All were glad the “Shark Attack” entry (3rd place) from the Butler Family of Cottage #35 did not eat it.  Our 50th State was well represented by the “Hawaiian Theme” from the Martin Family of Cottage #141 – here’s hoping the Pacific sail was not too rough. A big thank you to the “Don’t rain of my Parade” by the Clelland Family of Cottage #121 for giving us a beautiful weather day for the flotilla.  Of course we cannot thank “Splish-Splash” from The Pusti Family and Friends of Cottage #118A enough for the excellent CLEAN UP.

BOO Halloween Party BOO

There will be a Halloween Party October 28, 2017, 7:00 pm at the PLCC clubhouse.  The theme is music and everyone is asked to dress as a musical entertainer.  Bring a picture of the entertainer you are impersonating and if you’re willing, be prepared to sing one of their songs.
Bring your own drinks and snacks.  There will be a $5 donation at the door to cover expenses.
Dick Smart will be our DJ/entertainer for the evening.  Elvis will make an appearance and there will be karaoke.  Bring your friends and join us for a night of fun.
